Continuous monitoring of the area of interest is possible thanks to the pre-established time resolution (cyclicality of the satellite passages on a given surface). Moreover, obtaining information through images with a specific geometric resolution (size of the pixel on the ground) allows the analysis of the surfaces for samples distributed over the territory as well as, most importantly, their totality (each pixel of the image represents a value).
