GIA01 - Gis Analyst

We are recruiting a GIS analyst with at least 2 years experience in the role, with a Bachelor
Degree in Environmental Sciences, Environmental Engineering or equivalent title.
The candidate will have the following skills:
Good knowledge of digital cartography and GIS technologies in different contexts
( Numeral Cartography, Transportation, Utilities, etc..)
Good knowledge of the most common Gis Open Source tools such as Qsis and GDAL
Knowledge of procedural languages such as Python
Knowlege of Geographical Open Source Database (PostGre SQL, PostGIS)
Excellent skills of integration and adaptability within the working team
The candidate will be placed in a team with responsibilities of support to the development and
managing of data in P.A.

SWD06 - Software developer

The successful candidate will be a programmer with at least 2 years’ previous experience, holding a university degree in IT Engineering or equivalent and in possession of the following skills:

  • Excellent knowledge of and autonomy in developing Java Android applications,
  • Knowledge of full-stack development of web-based applications (Java EE, Javascript, HTML5, CSS3),
  • Preference will be given to candidates familiar with other programming languages, development of restful APIs and geographical information systems (GIS).

The successful candidate will also have a good knowledge of English, the ability to develop their expertise by learning new technologies, be results-driven and flexible, and enjoy working in a team.

ESD04 - ESRI Developer

The vacancy is for a Software Analyst with at least 2 years’ previous experience, holding a university degree in IT Engineering or equivalent and in possession of the following skills:

  • Development of applications based on ESRI technology (ArcGIS API for JavaScript) and good knowledge of WEB architectures (REST, MVC)
  • ESRI GeoProcessing Tool development skills through the ArcGIS APIs for Python (possibly also using ESRI extensions, for example, Network Analyst and Spatial Analyst)
  • Consolidated experience and autonomy in the development of applications in Microsoft .NET (C#)
  • Experience in use of DBMS technologies (Oracle, SQL Server, etc.) possibly including the Spatial component.

The successful candidate will have good knowledge of English, the ability to interact with the client at the software design stage, be results-driven and flexible and able to work in a team.

SWD03 - Software Developer

The vacancy is for a Programmer with at least 2 year’s previous experience, holding a university degree in IT Engineering or equivalent and in possession of the following skills:

WAD02 - Web/APP Developer

The vacancy is for a Programmer with at least 2 years’ previous experience, holding a university degree in IT Engineering or equivalent and in possession of the following skills:

  • Extensive knowhow in development of Mobile Apps (iOS and Android – native, Microsoft Xamarin technology, and WebApps, preferred technology Apache Cordova)
  • Web-based application development knowledge
  • The main programming languages:
    • Back-end: Microsoft .NET C# (alternatively, Java)
    • Front-end: AngularJs, jQuery

Preference will be given to candidates with knowledge of Python.

ATF01 - Technical Functions Analyst

The vacancy is for a Software Analyst with at least 4 years’ previous experience, holding a university degree in IT Engineering or equivalent and in possession of the following skills:

  • Analysis of application requirements, identification and design of the architecture and user functions, and drafting of related documents (SRS)
  • Knowledge of issues relating to digital cartography, geo-localisation, use of GIS technology in a variety of sectors (transport, utilities, etc.)
  • Solid experience in analysis, design, development and deployment of GIS-based applications (commercial and/or open source) and in optimisation and maintenance of existing applications
  • Solid experience and autonomy in development of applications for Microsoft .NET (C# language)
  • Excellent knowledge of web architectures and frameworks (REST, SOAP, MVC, MVVM, IIS – Javascript, JQuery, HTML5, CSS3, C# mandatory, Telerik Kendo UI, AngularJs or Knockout appreciated)
  • Excellent knowledge of English.

The successful candidate will be required to continuously update his/her own technical competences, to provide technical support for Project Managers and to coordinate small development teams. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in developing APPs for Android.
